Timelapse Watch Face Issue

Hello,

I am very happy with my Apple watch 2 but this last week the Timelapse Wathc Face has been delayed and it has been showing the wrong point in the day. When it is day time it is showing night time on my watch face and vice versa. How do I fix this?

I already tried doing this and it doesn't work:

The following steps may help:

On your iPhone go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and check that:

  • Location Services is enabled (top setting).
  • In the list of applications beneath, check that Apple Watch Faces is set to While Using > While Using the App.

Also on your iPhone, check that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled:

  • Settings > Bluetooth - on and Settings > Wi-Fi - on.

Check that your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone:

  • When viewing the time on your watch, swipe up on the screen to open Glances > swipe left/right to the Settings Glance > check that this states Connected and shows a green phone symbol (disable Airplane Mode if it is active) > Swipe down again to exit Glances when done.

  • It may also help to open the Maps app on your iPhone and/or watch.
  • Reboot both Apple Watch and iPhone

Thank you!

Hi

The following steps may help (check after each before moving on to the next):

If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > General > Date & Time:

  • Check that Set Automatically is enabled.

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services:

  • Check that Location Services is enabled.
    • If the setting is already turned on, try turning it off, pausing for a few moments and then re-enabling it.
  • Check that Apple Watch Faces is set to While Using.
    • Toggling the setting to Never and back again may help.
  • At the bottom, tap on System Services > check that Setting Time Zone is enabled (you may also wish to enable all other system services, if they are not presently enabled).

Check that your Apple Watch and iPhone are connected via Bluetooth:

Restart (normally) both your iPhone and your Apple Watch, turning both devices off together, then restarting your iPhone first:

Make the following changes to your watch face collection:

  • Remove the Timelapse watch face from the collection on your Apple Watch, restart both devices again and then add the Timelapse watch face back again.

  • If the issue persists, unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch:

If the issue persists, then I suggest that you contact Apple Support (remote diagnostics and/or mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance:
