RSS Feed issues for podcast

Can anyone help with this? I'm new to rss feeds and not sure what's wrong with the feed. In short, I can plug in the URL feed on iTunes if I use File/Subscribe to Podcast, and the 4 episodes I've posted will download. However, the episodes will not show up on iTunes Store or the Podcast app.

When I entered the rss feed in the Feed Validator I got the text below:

This feed does not validate.

In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

None those errors matters. Most of them are because they are new tags which FeedValidator does not recognize. However although the feed works OK in iTunes, Podcasts Connect says there are no episodes in it. The actual episode file I checked worked OK but took a long time to load.

CastFeedValidator validated it OK but took two minutes to respond. Possibly your server is being so slow that Podcast Connect times out, though I would have expected that to produce the error that it couldn't read the feed. Podbase says the SSL certificate is incompatible with iTunes (see the entry for that in their report) - although iTunes itself is OK. The podcast does not appear to have been submitted to the iTunes Store.

I don't know why Podcasts Connect is baulking at it - as far as I can see the feed is OK although it's so badly laid out I can't read it and have to rely on the validators. All I can suggest is trying Podcasts Connect again at a later time. However SiteServer/SquareSpace has caused trouble in the past and you might to better to look for somewhere else to construct your podcast.

Hi Roger,

Thank you for your response. Your reply was helpful! I went back to Podcasts Connect after creating another podcast page on SquareSpace and only loading the first episode with minimal information. I initially added 4 episodes with all the data, which may have caused issues. I'm waiting on Podcasts Connect to review the podcast feed. Hopefully, this feed will work and I can load the other episodes one at a time. Thanks again!
