How can I find the purchase date of my Macbook Pro?

You can find an approximate date via the serial number if it's still under warranty or AppleCare. If not there's no data from the following other than all warranties have expired.

The other thing I can think of is an approximate manufacturing date for the machine and battery if you run coconutBattery. But it's not a purchase date.
