How to fix predictive text grammatical errors

My iPhone's predictive text utility regularly suggests grammatically incorrect word combinations. For example, any time I attempt to type "...its ability...", predictive text suggests erroneously that I really wanted to type "...it's ability...", which combination almost never appears in English.

What is the procedure for getting Apple to correct errors like this in the predictive text lexicon?

To the left side of the predictive text, you will find exactly what you type, in quotations. If you select that, rather than let Apple automatically change, it will learn this other spelling and not suggest the other.
