iCloud backup

Hey, my iPhone 6s just completely stopped working a couple weeks ago, the screen turned completely blank but when I would plug it into the charger the Apple symbol would pop up and then it would just go blank again. Since I was due for an upgrade I ended up having to upgrade to the iPhone 8 but I lost ALL of my pictures and notes everything that was important. Plus I no longer have the iPhone 6s in my possession. My biggest concern is that I never did an iCloud backup on my iPhone 6s so is there absolutely no way of getting those pictures back or is there still hope? Please help!

Hi

If you had iCloud backup turned on before problems then when you charge an iphone /ipad it automatically backs up to iCloud Over your wifi.

On your new iPhone go to settings down to reset Restore iPhone back to factory settings.

Set backup Over your wifi If it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back.

This will only work if you had iCloud backup turned on iPhone 6s

You can still download any apps again free from apps store that you paid for.

Always keep iCloud backup turned on.

Cheers
