Is there a way to show music in list view for Itunes 12.7.3 - not just for whole library but in each Artist category?

Do you mean something like this?

• Select the Songs view (1.)
• If the Column Browser (2.) is not displayed, turn it on in the top bar menu, View/Column Browser/Show Column Browser (or use the Windows shortcut CTRL+shift+B)
• In View/Column Browser you can select the column options you want

• Going back to the first screenshot, once you have the columns displayed as in the screenshot, what you can see is:
  • Genres - (all 242 selected)
  • Artists - (all 1629 selected)
  • Albums - (all 3082 selected)
• If you leave all the genres selected, but click on whichever artist you wish to look at, only the albums by that artist will be shown
• In the area below the column Browser are the songs by that artist (4.)

in the screenshot above:

• all genres (A.) are selected
• the artist (B.) Academy Of Ancient Music has been selected
• so the 5 Albums (C.) by the selected artist are shown
• all songs (D.) by that artist on all albums are shown
• to see only the songs on one particular album, select the album

You cannot customise the behaviour of the Artist and Album views to make them like the Songs or other list views.
