Apple ID email being spammed - Alias

Hi -

My main apple ID email has been spammed and despite setting junk mail settings and using Spam Sieve I am getting over 80 spam emails a day.

Is there a way to use an alias and within Mail only retrieve mail on the alias IE de select the apple ID email with mail?

The only alternative seems to be set up a new apple ID and use family sharing which seems to be a bit over the top.
