Is this going to work?

I have been receiving annoying amounts of spam addressed to me @me.com.

I wanted to delete that but apparently I can't.

So I made a rule that any mail that has '@me.com' in the To field is to be deleted.

Now we wait to see if I still get my mail from @icloud.com properly.

Anyone else with this same issue ever tried this? Just wondering if I have made a mess and will have to remove the rule...

Hi Kate III,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're receiving a large amount of junk email to your @me.com email address and you've created a rule in Mail that anything sent to your @me.com email address will automatically be sent to the Trash folder to help keep your inbox clear. I also see that you'd like to know if this will affect receiving mail that's sent to your @iCloud.com email address. I can see why you'd reach out for clarification on this; I'd like to help. The rule you created should work for what you'd like it to do as long as you don't anticipate needing any messages that are sent to your @me.com email address; your @iCloud.com messages should still appear in your inbox as expected.

It may be possible for you to remove or change the @me.com address you have, check out the information in the links below for guidance:

Best Regards.
