I need to be able to add material to my iPhone via iTunes from both of my computers. They both have iTunes but do not have the same library. Computers are 500 miles apart.
How do I do this without erasing my complete iPhone library each time I connect to a different one of my computers?

Depending on what you define as material, you can add content from another computer to your phone, but it would have to be content like a document, photo or video that you could add via DropBox or email.
Even if you manually manage content in iTunes, you can’t use more than one computer with an iPhone.

I am new to iPhone.
I fail to see the benefit to me as an iPhone user In only allowing to sync to one computer.
ITunes is also the gatekeeper of my ringtones and I have custom ones for each client. iTunes has disabled that option for me too as it will mean deleting my music library.
I gathered that, I was wondering why this limitation is put on iPhone users.
This has been the case since day 1.

Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.

Sync iTunes from two computers?
