DropBox syncs too slow on my iMac (etrecheck)

Hello dear friends,

I know this is not the right section but I said to myself maybe it has to do with the Mac OS.

Dropbox sync is really slow, even if my internet connection is very good (3 mb upload speed and 35 mb dl) and other programs runs very fast.

Maybe somebody can help me, cheers.

here's etrecheck results :

By the way : "If kept up-to-date that is all Mac OS needs to run well." I completely disagree with you. It has been proven recently that Apple has practiced planned obsolescence with iPhones and I personnaly believe it's the case for iMac's also, I did run a test by installing both Sierra and Yosemite in a hd and running them on the same old Mac (2010): Yosemite was clearly working really fast, while safari couldn't even open and I couln't type anything with the keyboard without freezing on Sierra. Updates make old computer's slower.

I agree for Cleanmymac tho, it's a trash

however you will eventually find I am correct

Please advance your arguments, because this sentence doesn't have any;

if by the sentence "run well" you mean "keep your Mac secure", then yes you are right, Mac OS X updates gives more security to computers.
But, If you meant that updates will make the OS run faster and better, then you are either lying, hallucinating or lacking of knowledge about this issue. As I said, I ran several tests on two different computers and could ocularly see the speed difference, which was about three times faster on older computers. I concentrate that much on this issue because you recommend people to update Mac OS (⚠) and if somebody doesn't know enough he/she will follow your wrong advice and then 1) will have a slow computer, 2) won't be able to downgrade os (except if it's an advance user) and 3) will be in the obligation to spend money to buy a new iMac.
I say it and repeat : If you have a Mac that is little old, don't make any OS updates unless your hardware is very strong, and even if that's the case, I won't recommend again unless you really must update in order to run the last photoshop or software ect.
