Connecting USB Microphone with MacBook Pro 2017 (USB-C)
Hi. Does anyone here know whether the USB Microphone will work on MacBook Pro 2017 using dongle on USB-C port? Has anyone tried it? How's the result?

I have been trying to make this work and it is not. I have two different USB microphones and plug into an Apple dongle. No Application can make use of the mics when plugged in this way. The About This Mac System Report says they are there (under USB info, not Audio) but they are not select-able within the applications, like GarageBand, or whatever. This is very frustrating and I haven't seen anything about this when I google. How about it Apple? Can you help?
That's so unfortunate! I have been thinking of getting a new USB Microphone like Audio Technica AT2020 USB+ or RODE NT USB, but then I wondered whether it will work on my device. The quality of built-in microphone on my device is not even close to be considered as good, especially for vocal recording.
