Apps organized in groups lost - fed up with Apple

Before I go totally insane, I would like to know how am I to find my hundreds of apps organized in groups as I used to have them since I right now have total chaos on my iPhone. iPhone is a tool for some people and Apple should take its clients more seriously. I am extremely annoyed as I was only looking for an app I deleted by accident and someone on the forum had advised to reset the screen apps, which I did, alas.

I am too busy and have no time to waste on Apple experimenting on us all the time.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.2.5

That's exactly how my troubles started. Now I am locked in a vicious cercle with my phone in recovery mode and me incapable to restore a backup because iPhone is not accessible for me to inactivate Find my Phone.

I AM FURIOUS!

That seems to have nothing to do with your original question, in which you didn't mention you had any issues other than you'd lost your folders.

Why are you not able to deactivate Find My iPhone? If you forgot your Apple ID passcode, start here:

This makes no sense. As Idris points out, this has absolutely nothing to do with your question.

What "vicious cercle[sic]" are ty locked in? How can you have put your phone into recovery mode if your phone is not accessible? If you don't have physical possession of the phone, then of course it's not accessible. If you do, then how, exactly, is it "not accessible"?

Calm down and actually explain your problem in a coherent way instead of going off the deep end.

So, it all started with my updating to the 11 beta system without having realised it was a beta version. After all the things I stated above happened, I read about putting the phone to recovery mode in order to return to the old system. But then a crazy situation happened where my Mac (in Tunes) informed me that I had to deactivate FindMyPhone (which I had done earlier) while the phone was empty content-wise, that’s what I meant by talking of a vicious circle and of not having access to my phone. I was locked in a situation unable to advance. At the end, all it seems I had to do was ignore the Mac, disconnect the phone and all of a sudden recovery started. Now I have my first pages of organised apps more or less ok together with several old, deleted apps - but we are talking about icons only, the content has yet to download and we are talking about a huge amount of apps. But God am I fed up. Already fed up with tha battery issue.

You can't return to the older version of iOS.

Already fed up with tha battery issue.

You are bringing up a new problem in every post. Perhaps you should start at the beginning.
