MAC CALENDAR-The server responded with an error.

I accidentally pasted a ton of text into a calendar entry, and not I can NOT do anything with my Calendar. I can't move to a different week, turn it off (without Force Quit), or enter or delete anything. HELP! Please!!!! Everything else is working and I have turned my entire computer off multiple times and have Quit out of Calendar multiple times as well. It keeps appearing, this huge entry, with the message: The server responded with an error.

BeeHive5,

Backup your calendars.

Quit Calendar.

Then paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.

Open the Calendars Folder which is in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.

Next open the Preferences Folder in that same Library Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.

Log out/in or restart and open Calendar.
