Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

I recently upgraded to iOS 11.2.5 and in the last few days, I've been having a problem where my Bluetooth automatically turns off and disconnects with my Apple watch and any other devices that are paired. At first, I was able to turn it back on easily; however, now it is quite hard to get it back up and running. When I go into settings, under bluetooth, the option to toggle it from off back to on isn't there. It just shows the swirling "thinking" symbol.

Has anyone had a similar problem lately? Any recommendations for me? I'm lost without my Apple watch and being able to sync my phone to my vehicle for music.

Unfortunately, the problem is definitely not with my phone, as the same thing happens with my husband's iphone (also running iOS 11.3 (now 11.4). Toyota did a software update on my head unit to no avail, and actually replaced my entire head unit, installed the software update, and I'm still having the problem. But again, I never had any problems until iOS 11.

I have same problem. Constant disconnect/reconnection. On my iPhone 6s Plus. Running iOS 11.4. I noticed this when paired to my LG headset, and to my car stereo Bluetooth. I forgot devices on phone, did a hard reset on iPhone, reconnected, but the problem still exists. The only thing I haven’t tried is restoring iPhone from a backup... I will try this when I am on a high speed Internet connection, as I only have 3 mb at home...pain in the ***.

I've been having a problem with my car (2015 Toyota Venza) since ios11. My old iphone 6 as well as my new iphone X. Tried everything, including having Toyota do a software update. It only happens with my car, and not always. Today it happened twice -- both after a call had been completed. Had to manually reconnect (not particularly safe while driving). Very frustrating, to say the least. Apple says the problem is with Toyota, but I never had a problem until ios 11.

I’ve been having that problem with a non-apple product. I was able to connect my Muse without a problem but last week, it started to drop the connection. I could restart it but once it happens, it drops once a minute. I tried forgetting the device so I could reconnect it. That worked for 2 days.

I forgot the device again and now all I get is a spinning wheel. I tried resetting the Muse and fully charging it at the request of the Muse help desk. That didn’t change anything.

My Apple Watch connects right away and it is a foot farther away from my phone than the Muse headband.

Any ideas on what I can do to get the device back on my phone are greatly appreciated. I have a iPhone 8 and I’m running iOS 11.4
