Allow WhatsApp message when on DND

Hi,

How can I allow messages from certain group or contact to come through on WhatsApp even when on DND?

As part of rescue team we can be activated at anytime, which one of the means to activate it is WhatsApp chat. I like to put the DND on after a certain time so emails and other notifications are silenced. I have the important numbers on the favourite list and text message on Emergency Bypass.

I have not found a way for the WhatsApp notifications though.

Does anyone know how to do that?

I really don't know if you can do it.

I would contact whatsapp's support team and ask them if this is possible.

Thanks. I figured this would be the answer.

Are you aware of any app that would make that possible? I saw some other forums about app to allowing the profile management just like BB does (I'm a former BB user).

Don't mention it, Et_CR.

And no, I'm not aware of any 3rd party app that can make that possible (but I could be wrong).
