Verification Code from Apple ID Verified

Hello, I received an odd looking verification code last night. This code was received via iMessage instead of the normal SMS which verification codes are normally sent. The contact card was already filled, it states it is from Apple ID Verified.

I did not attempt to log into my apple ID from any of my devices. I am mostly concerned about the source of this message, as I have never received a verification code via iMessage or with this contact, it is always over SMS from a 5 digit number. Should this be of concern? I have performed an Apple ID password reset just in the case of malicious activity on my account.
