apple maps navigation prompts followed by a beep

When using apple maps for navigation the turn by turn prompts are followed by a beep. Nothing I have tried stops the constant annoying beeping. It only happens when connected through bluetooth. I know it is the IOS because it happens with both iPhone SE and iPhone X. Any suggestions I am going nuts with this.

Loud notifications from apple maps CarPlay Hello.When I use Apple maps for navigation in Car Play in my MK 7 VW Golf, if I make a phone call or receive a phone call, there is a very loud and annoying alert tone when I approach an instruction from Apple Maps and I cannot find a way of turning it off.It is not necessary as I can see on the map that I need to turn etc.Please help.Thanks.

Google maps only beeps on carplay i have an iphone 12 ios14. Google maps only beeps instead of giving me voice directions (completely missing the point of using maps) when using Carplay. A beep when you’re on the road 2 meters from an intersection where there is a fork won’t do me any good considering you have to switch 4 lanes to get to where you want to go and it won’t even tell me right or left so I’d have to avert my eyes from the road. I’ve checked the maps voice settings and it is unmuted. I simply can’t tell what the issue is.
