Sorry, I have not. I suggest a call to Apple.
Contacting Apple Customer and Support Service
Actually I was referring to the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adapter and the complete identifier is “A1433 EMC 2590” and Apple part number is MD463ZM/A. It seems that something happened with the OS update that disabled the USB and Thunderbolt ports. Have you seen that?
A1433 is not a unique identifier. To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities' folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right. You may also find the complete model information by selecting About This Mac from the Apple menu.
Possible Fixes for El Capitan or Later
You should try each, one at a time, then test to see if the problem is fixed before going on to the next.
Be sure to backup your files before proceeding if possible.
- Select Disk Utility from the Utility Menu and click on Continue button.
- When Disk Utility loads select the drive (out-dented entry) from the Device list.
- Click on the Erase icon in Disk Utility's toolbar. A panel will drop down.
- Set the Format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)
- Click on the Apply button, then wait for the Done button to activate and click on it.
- Quit Disk Utility and return to the Utility Menu.
- Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
