Why does apple not have confederate flag emoji?

Make your suggestion to unicode.org, they are the one in charge of emoji.

No one has a Confederate flag emoji. Only after the Unicode Consortium okays an emoji that has been up for consideration can any emoji be added.

It also means armed conflict against the United States government, otherwise known as treason.

Apple uses unicode standard, so feedback will not change anything.

I should have clarified that the poster could vent his frustrations to Apple. Many apologies for not being more clear. I was treating it as two issues. Issue one was no flag and issue two was upset at Apple.
