Apple watch pairing

Hello, my apple watch was paired to my old iphone 6 - my iphone 6 was replaced in-store by Apple as it stopped working. I could then not unpair my apple watch with that phone. I can't pair my replacement phone with the watch as it is still paired with the old phone that I no longer have access to. Please help.

Hi

If you are not able to switch your Apple Watch to your new iPhone by following the instructions here:

Erase your Apple Watch via iCloud:

    • Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.

Hi there,

To unpair your Apple Watch, you should be able to do it from the watch itself, first, you’ll need to reset your watch. To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Go to general
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap reset
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions

Before repairing, make sure that

  1. You’re updated to the newest version of iOS
  2. Bluetooth is turned on
  3. Your iPhone is connected to a cellular or WiFi connection
