iPhone 6s Bluetooth problems

Hi wonder if anyone can help please, i undated my iPhone 6s the other day (iOS 11.2.5) and since then when I’m playing music in my car (Ford Fiesta) it crackles and sounds awful if I connect the aux lead it’s ok but would rather used my Bluetooth cause I can control it on my steering wheel then.. anyone got any advice.. thanks jade.x

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you've been experiencing crackling and poor audio quality when connecting your iPhone 6s to your car stereo using Bluetooth. I'm happy to help.

I recommend following steps below. Start with step 2 since you're able to successfully pair with Bluetooth:
  1. Check your car stereo's user manual for how to pair with a Bluetooth device.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, and turn off Bluetooth. Wait for 5 seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on.
  3. Restart your iOS device.
  4. On your iOS device, unpair your car stereo. On your car's display, unpair your iOS device and any other devices. Restart your car and your iOS device, then pair and connect again.
  5. Update your iOS device.
  6. Install any firmware updates for your car stereo.
  7. If you still can't connect, contact Apple Support.
