HomePod stuck on white setup screen after selecting room

when I go to set up my home pod i get prompted, select the room, then the screen goes white and it just sits there. Ive updated my time capsule, Phone, Reset the phone, Reset the network settings on the phone, reset the homepod. Im about to return this thing.
