HomePod Mini multiple failures

I can't make my HomePod Mini to work properly. It gets continuously auto-disconnected from the source it's playing (MacBook or iPhone), annoying delays between the order given (play/pause) and the continuity option never got to work with anything I play on my iPhone. I really tried everything: resetting, updating software, changing networks, everything. Any help? Thank you.

Have you made sure that your souce and the homepod are all on the same 2.4 GHz band?

Try turning off the 5 GHz band.
