How do i put my own music in imovie trailer

I have selected that bollywood theme for my trailer but the apple music is so cheesy and i need to mute the apple music and want to make the trailer with my music running in the background, my imovie version is 10.1.4

I tried everywhere but to no avail, you can do it in full movie but not in trailer, please help guys!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Hi,

Unfortunately, you can't change the music while working on the trailer, although you can mute the music from your keyboard so you don't have to listen to it.

To change the music you need to convert the trailer to a movie. To do that, do a File/Convert Trailer to Movie. Then you can delete the old music and put in any audio that you want.
