You can’t trade in it with Apple, but you can recycle it and get an Apple gift card that you can use to purchase a new device.

Frankly, that device is so old, it isn’t going to be worth much at all, but anything that you can get is better than nothing at all.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's worth it. The trade-up value of an iPad 2 in perfect conditions is quite low. It's an old machine.

I was assuming you are in Ireland as your previous post to another topic hinted. If that's the case I scoured prices for several resellers, and every single one had iPads and iPad Minis for Apple's suggested retail price.
