communication error from MacBook pro to Epson WF printer - intermittent error, reloaded epson drivers and all updates.

Macbook Pro 15" to Epson WF3620, intermittent usb communication error. Uninstalled all Epson O/S, reloaded all from disk and updates from Epson to no avail.

Is this possibly the Mac O/S and need for reloading (High Sierra)?

Thanks in advance,

DW

An intermittent communication error on a wireless printer means that the connection is there, but something is interfering with the radio signal from the computer to the printer.

That signal is typically at 2.5ghz, the same signal level as a wireless home telephone or a microwave oven.

Other interference can include metal walls, walkie talkies and even rearranged furniture.

This is not a driver issue. This is a radio interference issue. I'm betting that if you ran a USB cable to the printer that it would work fine. Check what electronics are running in the same area.

Also, make sure the USB plug is plugged in tight.
