Personal hotspot, self assigned ip

I have a macbook air and iphone 6. current softwares of my devices are up to date. high sierra 10.13.3 and ios last version.

but since I upgraded to high sierra, I can't connect to my personal hotspot. my macbook air can connect other wireless and iphone too can connect others. I can share hotspot with anyone, people can connect but I can't connect with my macbook air. I get self assigned ip adress issue. Tried so many solution but couldn't get it work.

I tried these below

Deleted some files in SystemConfiguration folder
Reset network settings on iphone
Giving static ip, router, subnet
Restarting devices, Changing hotspot password and name ...
Signing in, sign out to cloud mail.
Deleting password with KeyChain Access

none of these work.

What should I do it?, Generally, my macbook air can't resolve the router, DHCP??

If you are having issues connecting your Mac to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot via Wi-Fi, you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful. In particular, as a test, you may want to try connecting via Bluetooth and/or USB and seeing if it works, or if you are still seeing the same issues

It may also be worth creating a new Network Location and testing the Wi-Fi connection there as well:

Thanks for replying.

I tried these things above. I changed my hotspot password and name again again and again it worked.

But it is a temporary solution. currently I use my hotspot network but I know it will disconnect when amount of time passed.
