Use iCloud Drive and share document with different MacBook Pro - Hight Sierra and El Capitan

Hi,

I have a two macbook pro, mid 2009 (El Capitan) and late 2016 (High Sierra)

with High Sierra I can share the documents and desktop folders, with El Capitan, this option is not exist.

How can I share the desktop/documents folder for these laptop?

If I use iCLoud Drive with both, i have two document folders in El Capitan Macbook pro (mid 2009).

1 --> iCloud Drive > document folder

2 --> myComputer > users > myUser > document folder

Even with desktop folder

This creates a bit of confusion.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for any reply.

Emiliano

El Capitan does not have the desktop and folders option for iCloud. You need High Sierra or later.

Your "1" folder is the document folder from your High Sierra device.

Your "2" folder is the local one for your El Capitan device.
