Apple ID Email Doesn’t Exist!

So, I have an issue with Apple ID,


My mom has given me her old iPhone 5 and her Apple ID is still logged into it. We can’t log out which is an issue because I need my Apple ID logged into this iPhone 5 (which is now mine). We can’t reset the password because the email linked to it no longer exists and we can’t remember the password, the security question is odd because we don’t know the answer. So basically, can’t log out of the Apple ID because we don’t know the password and we can’t reset it because the email doesnt exist and security question wont work, someone please help.

Try contacting Support and see if they can reset the password and security questions for you : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security

Or, and if your mother the original purchaser of the phone (i.e. it wasn’t bought used), she could try going to an Apple Store (she should make a Genius Bar appointment if she does) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the phone from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
