Disable automatic contact merge

Hi community,

is there a way to stop the iPhone from automatically merging all contacts, no matter what source they are from?

The problem is that most of the company contacts (Exchange as a source) are automatically linked with private contacts (iCloud) on the phone. Therefore it comes to the fact that "John Doe" from company X gets linked to a private contact "John Doe". If you would like to call the private John Doe you only have one contact with all data of the both contacts mixed. You now have to remember the number to dial which is redicioulus because you have a 50% chance to dial the wrong number.

It is known to unlink the contacts manually, but this is not practicable with hundreds of contacts and new automatic wrong links will happen in the future.

It would be great if someone has an idea how to turn off this behavior or could be positively influenced. The contacts are linked without a clearly identifiable feature. Sometimes a common first name is enough to be deemed worthy to link.
