Somehow my contacts have duplicated themselves and become linked to others

I somehow have multiple Copies of each of my contacts. Most of them now have 2 to 3 links to another contact. There are now over 1k contacts.

I’m not sure how this happened but suspect it was something to do with incognito mode. Every time I swiped right it duplicated the contact for some reason. Incognito mode is now turned off.

Is there any easy way to get my contact list back to normal Without having to manually edit each contact by itself.
