Maps is defaulting to wrong home location.

Maps is defaulting to wrong home location. It's driving me crazy. This started out of the blue although it may have coincided with a software update. The home address is correct on my card in contacts. I am connected with iCloud.

MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Hey you're in luck! click on the phone icon, go over to the contacts at the bottom, when scrolled all the way to the top you'll see your contact info. click, and enter in your correct home address. Click this was helpful to get me ranked up! thanks 🙂

ive also heard creating a bookmark name home works as well.

another option is going into maps, find your home, long press to drop a pin, click the box with arrow up, assign address to existing contact, find your name, and apply it to make sure its correct and updated.

last case scenario soft reset your phone long press power and vol down (versions iphone 7 and newer) or power and home button for older phones

The address in my contact card is correct. The blue home icon correctly shows at my home address. When I am away from home, Maps default suggesting to navigation is to the address of a nearby school. That school is nowhere in my contacts. Maps used to correctly suggest navigation to my correct home address. This other issue is new in the last 6 weeks or so.
