Yamaha FC7 pedal configuration

Just got this expression pedal and I want to use it as volume control. It's plugged in to the expression input on my Nektar Panorama and MS recognizes it but on gives midi values of 127 to 118 with a full sweep of the pedal. It works properly with all my hardware synths and my other expression pedals work properly as volume control with MS. Any ideas?

Here's some info, how to setup faders, wheels and pedals:

http://www.nektartech.com/s.nl/ctype.KB/it.I/id.812/KB.1129/.f

However, if you can't get it to work, you might need to change the wiring of the FC-7. Therefore, you can use an adapter, that cross wires tip and ring, or you modify the pedal: Remove the upper part from the base plate, remove the nut and bolt, pull away the pedal. Now the housing falls apart and the potentiometer can be accessed. Flip the white and red wire and assemble in reverse order. Beware of the grease!
