iphone x video recording audio muting

Hi I have a I phone x and every time I do video recording the audio keeps muting at intervals. It comes and goes. The audio is fine on all other apps and phone apart from when I do video recording. I tried restarting each time no luck. Is this a common issue with the IPhone X or just my handset. Please can some one help how I can fix this problem.

I understand from your post that when recording video on your iPhone X that the sound comes and goes. Audio is fine with other apps. Does the audio have issues when recording using both the front and rear cameras? The following article has information which may help:
