Clicking links within apps opens a BLANK page in Chrome

For the last couple of weeks, when I try to click a link that is sent to me within an app on my iMac (iMessage, Slack, even the link to log in to Facebook to access my spotify), all it does it open Chrome and does not take me to the link. This is super annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this?

late 2015 iMac, maxOS High Sierra version 10.13.3

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

After reviewing your post, it appears that, whenever you tap a link in any application, Google Chrome opens to a blank page. I'm happy to help.

Make Safari your default web browser -- Make Safari your default browser and test the issue.
