Where did you download it from and what makes you think it may be fake?
Any installer you download from a third party could contain malware. Only download apps from AppStore, or directly from the developer. (Adobe Flash Player is a a good example, with many phony downloads on the internet.)
Does those fake installers actually install MacOS or they will not work and will install virus into your computer?
If I downloaded outside of Mac AppStore is there a way to fix it? Also I was from Mac Lion 10.7.5 and then I went to Apple support and downloaded Sierra and then upgraded again to High Sierra
Also is there a way to check if you downloaded apps from App Store? I mean like which app you purchased?

Yes. Open the App Store and check the "Purchased" tab.
I think my Mac is corrupted. I tried to turn it on and all it showed was a folder with a question mark
There used to be a Recovery HD disk. Now there isn’t on my screen.
Also if I download something from App Store, does it show on downloads folder? Also when I upgraded to High Sierra, does it keep all the downloaded files in the older versions?
Is there such thing a fake Mac installer?
