How to delete a subscribed calendar on iOS11

I tried to answer a question on another thread (How to delete subscribed calendars on iOS 10? ) but it won't let me! So, having come here to find the answer (but failing and googling further), I thought I'd answer it here in case others are still wondering.

The issue is that most of the advice for deleting subscribed calendars tells you to go to settings -> calendar -> accounts, but this doesn't exist in iOS11. The answer is to go to settings -> accounts & passwords -> subscribed calendars. From there, you do have the option to delete the calendar. Hope this helps someone!

Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords. The subscibed calendar should be listed in your accounts. Tap the calendar you want to delete. At the bottom is Delete Account. Tap it & confirm you want to delete it. Poof, it will be gone.

Hope this helps.

You may not be seeing it if you are not actually paying anything for the subscription. I found my subscribed calendars in the Calendar itself:

- Open the Calendar

- Tap on the "Calendars" option at the bottom of the screen - your list of Calendars will display

- Tap on the ℹ next to the calendar you want to delete

- Scroll to the bottom of the screen that displays - you should see the option to Delete Calendar
