Apple Watch face time color

Why is it sometimes I use a photo for my watch face it sets the time stamp a different color than others. Is there any way to control this ?

Same photo below user created two different color time stamps.

Hi

For the Photos watch face, Apple Watch adjusts the colour of the time automatically, so that it can be read against whatever colour the background is in that area of the display.

It is not possible to customise the colour of the font manually.

If you would like to submit a feature request to Apple, then you can do so here:

You're welcome!

The background is slightly different in your two examples, which likely explains the differences in font colour.

I appreciate your response but I’m still confused. You mentioned it does it automatically so you can read the time on other backgrounds but that is precisely my problem. I have some photos where it will not adjust to anything other than white and thus you can’t see the time. And did you see my photos. Same picture yielded different results for color time stamp.
