How to restore Google Chrome Bookmarks from Time Machine in High Sierra

Hi, I am having a serious issue locating my Chrome backup bookmarks from Time Machine. Every thread on this keeps saying that it is located in Application Support folder in Library, but while I can access the folder, I do not see any folder in there for Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks. Here is a screenshot of my Library in Time Machine backup. Please help me locate the Google Chrome folder. It is not hidden, and going to View Options does not bring anything back.

Try this…

Press "command + shift + h", then "command + j", then check "Show Library Folder". Then see if the User Library shows in your backups.

Do you have "Show Time Machine in menu bar" selected in System Preferences? If so, select the bookmark file and choose "Enter Time Machine". That should take you to the current (New) backup. You should be able to navigate back from there.

If not, get EasyFind from the App Store and search your backup for the file you want.

It's in the users library.

~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks

In the Finder, hold the option key and select "Library" from the "Go" menu.

Thanks for your help, but I am still stuck. Doing that just takes me to my current Chrome LIbrary, and not the backup. Check out the dates, this Feb 12th is when I setup my OS:

but the backup is from Feb 4th:

Yes, I am trhing to get the Bookmarks for Chrome from my Feb 4th TimeMachine backup. When I do view Library, I get access to the Library on my current build, and not on the backup from Feb 4th. The bookmarks file should have north of 500+ links, and the one I get access to from Feb 12th has 1 file in it. I do not see a bookmark file anywhere in this folder from Feb 4th :-(

What is it you are trying to do? If your most recent backup is on Feb 4th then that's what it is. Are you missing a bookmark or what?

Thank you. That works, but not on the backup. It simply takes me to my current user configuration and not the previous user from the Feb 4th backup. Oh well..

I do, and did all that. Unfortunately, when I am in time machine's backup, I am still left without the library file. Thanks for your help, despite not being able to recover the file. Cheers
