I have been updating this and for the last 4 times and now it say to purchase activation code.See screenshot. Does anyone know a way around it cause I cannot afford to pay for it I am out of work. And does anyone know of another one that is free to use for reports like EtrCheck? If so please let me know what it is.
I loved this and know h=they want money I know sooner or later it would happen.

The newest version does bring in changes and improvements.

I'd be skeptical of downloading some files from a source that

But you don't know my situation either. I am looking at what I can do for people. At one point, I was simultaneously developing a free version of EtreCheck 3.5, with the same 4.0 internals, but without the fancy new interface. But that was just too much work. I had to focus and get at least one product done. So yeah, I focused on the paid product.
I may still finish that 3.5 version. It is not a priority right now. I have a couple of high-priority bugs to fix. I need to explain a few more things in the FAQ. And then maybe I will have a chance to look at it.
I have already changed the licensing to give people 3 activations instead of 1. That was easy. I'm definitely flexible and I will do what I can to keep everyone, including myself, as happy as possible. I just need some time to fix these bugs, see how things are working, and get caught up.
