Yahoo email stopped working and won't re-install

My yahoo email account started to ask for a password, and when I entered, it just kept asking. So I uninstalled email and forced restart. When I try to add the yahoo account, I put in my email and password and it just keeps going back to Add Account without installing. No error message, just will not install. I checked my yahoo password and it is correct.

support I was having problems with yahoo mail so I deleted the account and now it won’t let me add it back I get an error saying wrong password for incoming server.... and also for some reason when I try to log into my yahoo mail in Safari I put my password in and it redirects me really fast back and forth and get the wrong password error... I can log into it on other devices through safari just not on my phone... please help...

My email has stopped sending or receiving messages. I don’t know my yahoo password and I am not able to change it because they want to send a reset to email. Help please! My email is not sending or receiving messages. I can reset because I can’t remover my login info and Zi can’t get s as message to allow me to reset. Do I need to go to an Apple Store god help. It is over an hour away

Email issue: Account already exists My email account was not retaining my password. I decided to delete the acct and add it back in to see if it would resolve the issue. When I try to add the acct back in, I get a message "this account already exists". But it doesn’t. Apparently something is being retained behind the scenes that I can't see. How do I fix the issue to be able to add the account back in? And any idea on why it wasn't retaining my password to begin with? I would input the password, it would accept it, then when I go back in, the password field would be blank again.

From many on-line posts, it seems Yahoo mail is having problems.

Suggest you contact Yahoo support for assistance. Some have reported

being able to access Yahoo email using a browser rather than an email app.
