Can I access the "Classic environment" running High Sierra 10.13.3?

Can I access "Classic environment" while running High Sierra 10.13.3? I have some older software I need to use but cannot start it.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS 9.0.x

No. The "Classic Environment" allowed you to run very old (MacOS 9 and earlier) software. But it requires a PowerPC processor, which means a Mac older than 2006, at least. Plus, it was last available in OS X 10.4 (Tiger). High Sierra is 10.13, to give you an idea of how old that is.


You may be able to find an emulator that allows you to emulate a old classic Mac. Search the web for "classic mac emulators" if you really want to find out more.
