Log in loop related to keychain issue

After upgrading high sierra my keychain started to ask my password for every application. I change the keychain password and my troubles began. After I turn my computer on I get the usual login screen where I enter my username and password but after 20-30 seconds I get another screen now with two different users asking my credentials again. I choose my initial account and enter the password and here I am sucked in a loop getting same screen every 20 seconds. enter the password wait get the same page asking login credentials. I am guessing it has something to do w keychain and if I can access utilities app and reset/disable keychain I can solve the issue.

On a related note if I choose the other user the computer works perfectly minus all my documents, desktop etc. of course. In fact typing this question in this other user account.
