I use my @mac.com email on my iPhone. When I try to add also my @sbcglobal email address, I get the Invalid Email notice. I have both of these email addresses on my Mac. Why can’t i add it to my iPhone or ipad?

No. I went back and forth to the account on my Mac. I entered it a dozen times on both my iPad & iPhone. Always "Invalid Email". The fact it does not work is why I am bringing it to Apple Discussion.
OK, you are not setting up an email account, you are either creating or changing the address for your Apple ID. You can’t use that address because it is already associated with an Apple ID or is a backup account for an Apple ID.
If you want to add an email account go to settings/Accounts & passwords
iPhone Settings > My account (ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store) > (Name, Phone, Email) > Edit > Add Email Address >
Most likely you had a typo somewhere in the setup. The SBC Global site should have a help article on setting it up on an iPhone.
Please describe the exact steps you did to add it, and when the error appeared. Include screen shots if you can without posting personal information.
sbcglobal email accounts are hosted by Yahoo. There has been a flood of complaints regarding Yahoo mail services over the last few days. The problem isn't your phone, it's Yahoo.
Okay, thanks. I was on the wrong entry point because I saw that mt @mac, @me & @icloud email accounts were there.
