Printing Backwards on High Sierra

Since I updated to the latest operating system both my printers are having issues printing right. I have a Brother Laser printer and an Epson R3000. Since I updated (10.13.3) it has been printing all wacky. I know that this would happen every time I would update to a new system in the past as well. I'm talking 10 years ago. I'm not sure why this happens. I know it probably has to do with printer drivers, but there aren't any new ones to update from so I'm forced to find alternatives like "Save to PDF" and then open the PDF in Previews to get an accurate print out. In other programs like Pages or Photoshop I can't for the life of me get a print out to work like the way it look on screen.

Is there anything I can do? Why does updating your OS screw up printing?
