Can someone access my phone camera via Firefox browser app and film me? How did they get my email?

I got an email saying they've hacked my camera and have filmed me and will send footage to all my contacts in my phone if I don't send money. Can someone do this? Can someone access my phone camera via Firefox browser app and film me? How did they get my email?

What should I do?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.2.6
