So the ladybug was on my screen and I flicked it away only for it to land lodged halfway into one of the holes/vent things below the screen display. I tried to take it out but it only got fully submerged into the vent, so It is stuck in there. Also, ladybugs are big so is this going to be an issue? Should I go to the genius bar?

Yeah, I'd be inclined to try to get it out. You don't want it dying in there and then getting blocking some cooling air flow or something.

Well, I would probably take it into the store... It might not be a big deal now, but it's always best to get it fixed and it's not a huge repair. 😉
Use a hoover to suck it out of the vent (additional bonus - you might suck some dirt out of your laptop as well).
Apple Stores are generally pretty good about doing fixes for free if they don't need any replacement parts. I have firsthand experience with such a repair.
Keep the plastic vacuum tools FAR away from your precious electronics. Household vacuum tools can generate electronics-killing static charges long before you feel the Zap of a static discharge.

How will you KNOW that you have successfully vacuumed the ladybug out of your Mac? (possibly a very clean bag/canister?)
Are you running the latest version of MacOS on an older MacBook Pro?
if so, they may not be willing to help you at the Apple Store, because it would not change things that much 😝
