I can't remove Advance Mac Cleaner malware

Hi, I have tried everything that has been suggested in the community discussion.

The problem is that the app won't shut down. Does not close when I try to shut down my Mac.

While open it does not allow me to delete anything in relations to that file.

What could I try to force to quit?

I recently had a stupid series of events which installed a thing called Advanced Mac Tuneup onto my computer, which I'm pretty sure is some form of malware. I immediately went to delete everything related to it, and I have removed almost everything. I have removed the application that you probably would find online when searching it, but the bar at the top of my screen still retains "Advanced Mac Tuneup". This was very concerning to me, and I did a bit of digging on my Mac. I found what seems to be the culprits on my Mac, but it seems that I can't remove them. In addition, I've also tried removing directly using Terminal, with "rmdir /Volumes/AdvancedMacTuneup\ 1/Advanced\ Mac\ Tuneup.app", but it says that it's a read only file system. At this point, I'm really not sure what I can do other than reset my entire computer, but the app doesn't seem to be doing anything malicious yet. If you guys could help, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mac running slow - Install Agent malware cleared by https://www.malwarebytes.com/ iMAC running like a snail. After much searching about and trying the usual clean ups noticed the drain on memory pressure in - Applications/Activity monitor. Install Agent is malware and in was taking up over 4 GB. Ran [Malwarebytes](https://www.malwarebytes.com/) free down load and cleared up this and several other lurking threats including residual MacKeeper stuff. The problem came on suddenly and not after any obvious downloads by me. No idea how it installed itself. Sorted :)

I Deleted Malwarebytes But Icon Still Shows in Startup Menu - How to Remove? Genius Bar employee added Malwarebytes to my Mac and nothing was found. I no longer want it on my computer so I closed the application, then dragged and dropped it into trash... but their icon is still showing in my startup menu. I want that "M" gone. But I can't get rid of it because it says the application is no longer on my system, yet this thing is still showing.I went to Preferences > Users > Login and looked for the program there. It is not there so I can't delete.How do I get rid of this???

Go to the Apple menu, select Force Quit, then select the app you want quit.
