iOS 11.3 - Delete Message Confirmation

The newest iOS 11.3 update enables a feature that asks if you're sure you want to delete a text message/iMessage once you choose the delete option. It's making me crazy! I tried searching through the settings to remove this deletion confirmation, but can't find anything on the topic. Is there any way to remove this feature?

think that Apple isn't aware of what's being said here.

Aware of? Most certainly. Influenced by? Highly Doubtful.

Billions of Messages are sent/received each day. Even tens of thousands (doubtful) of unhappy, disgruntled against-their-will-double-swipers won't likely cause a rethink of this feature by Apple.

The needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few.
