The newest iOS 11.3 update enables a feature that asks if you're sure you want to delete a text message/iMessage once you choose the delete option. It's making me crazy! I tried searching through the settings to remove this deletion confirmation, but can't find anything on the topic. Is there any way to remove this feature?

Adding my 2 cents! I HATE IT!!! I posted same question here and was told to report to apple. My suggestion to the apple eggheads was to add in settings under messaging a CHOICE to enable or disable this so-called enhancement. Here’s the link to voice your disgust.

This is more of a workaround. If you enable the "Save history when conversations are closed" option under Preferences->Messages, you won't be prompted when deleting conversations.
I agree too, was searching this issue for the first time and found this thread. Why would they take that away? doesn’t make any sense.
For God sake, please remove this Delete Confirmaiton option Apple !!
Delete confirmation was introduced to combat a frequent problem (operator error) causing data loss. It’s here and here to stay, so learn to live with it or move to a different phone.
This is Working As Designed, it is not a bug. If you don’t like it you have two options at this time, learn to like it or retire your Apple devices and move to Android.
